Yes, I too was the victim of some `hustling waiters` I have served and usually they tell you to say yes to the customer for anything. But the server should have informed you. Conversely, they may have felt uncomfortable telling you. Either way, still wrong. I had to practically yell at a waiter to tell him I wanted a well drink.- Is follow up to post by bobmugge ...
I went for lunch. They told about the specials. Chicken and Pasta. I asked if you could substitute something for the chicken. Sure, no problem was the reply. I got the shrimp 6 small ones on a skewer. I ordered a small side salad and tea to go with it. My check came for lunch it was 30+ dollars for that. It was an additional 8 dollars for the shrimp. This was not mentioned. The food was OK. It was my fault for not asking the price for the special. However I eat in Louisville everyday. I have never spent 30+ dollars for lunch any where on Hurstbourne or Shelbyville Rd. Just a warning. -- 5/20/2001 9:14:00 AM
